Tom (Tuan) Ngo

About me

Tom Ngo is a researcher, educator, and practitioner specializing in strategic and organization management. He has served as a principal instructor for BBA management courses, notably Managing Organizations and Strategic Management. Additionally, he has contributed significantly by providing teaching support for various BBA and MBA programs.

 

With a focus on empirical research, Ngo leverages his expertise actively. His research endeavors incorporate advanced techniques such as web scraping and machine learning from the realm of computer science, as well as econometric methods including panel data analysis. This multifaceted approach enables him to construct and analyze expansive datasets, uncovering valuable insights.

 

Ngo has earned a Ph.D. in Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, a Master's in Public Policy and a Bachelor’s in Business Administration from the National University of Singapore. Beyond academia, Ngo honed his skills within General Electric (Singapore) as part of a comprehensive management training program. Furthermore, his commitment extends to consultancy services provided to both for-profit and non-profit organizations.
